FILTRON
WIX-FILTRON is a producer and distributor of filters for the automotive industry, machines and engine equipment. We started our activity in 1982. We belong to an international Automotive Concern, the AFFINIA Group – part of the American capital group, the Cypress Group with its headquarters in New York.
Our sales offer consists of over 2 000 types of filters, of original quality for almost all car models. Presently we employ over 1 000 people. We sold 51 million filters in 2009, having 43% shares in the Polish filter market.
Over 50% of our products are exported to Germany, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary and to America and Africa.
We supply filters for the “first equipment” to amongst others: Aston Martin, Lotus, Ford, Volks-wagen, Seat, GM, Fiat, Land Rover, MG Rover.As the first company in the branch of filters in Poland, we implemented the quality management system conforming to ISO/TS 16949 standard and environment management system ISO 14001.
Fulfilling such strict requirements we assure top and recurrent quality of filters produced in our company. Due to a number of certificates achieved, we became partners with leading concerns producing cars, and a supplier of filters for “first equipment” to authorised services and spare parts market.
We cooperate with the research and development centre of the parent company WIX FILTRACION CORPORATION seated in the USA. We have the most modern laboratory in Poland for testing all types of filters in a wide range of specialized tests for filters, evaluating precisely their exploitation properties.
Having achieved the title of “Polish Business Leader” and being the finalist of the “Polish Quality Award”, we are also the first company in the branch of filters, to implement an all-Polish system of utilisation of our filters.
Today, WIX-FILTRON is the biggest and the most modern Polish-American joint venture, specialising in production and distribution of air, oil, fuel, dust, hydraulic and industrial filters.
Hitherto achievements of WIX-FILTRON, its great potential and dynamic development create beneficial conditions for strategic goal realisation which is:
maintaining the leader position in the Polish filtration products market as well as in Middle and Central Europe.
CERTIFICATES
In 1997 WIX-FILTRON, as the first of filtering systems manufacturers in Poland, was certified for ISO 9001. After merely two years, the Company - again as the first one on the filtration systems market - was certified for ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
